The real question regarding site search (meaning the search box that appears on your online store) is how good are your search results? If your search results are NOT good, I recommend giving it less prominence in your online store. In fact, if you can bury it, please do.

- Should you create “shortcuts” – say a customer types in “shipping policy” – shouldn’t this result go to your “shipping policy” content vs. a search results page with no results….oops!
